EXPERTISE

Tadej is primarily involved in environmental projects with emphasis on the emerging circular and collaborative economy subject areas. These approaches entail cross-sector resource recovery strategies and projects with their implementation into public and private sector. Tadej is also involved in smaller and more particular environmental problem solving activities actively trying to finding solutions for various types of wastes generated in municipal areas as well as construction and demolition and industrial waste. He cooperates with various national Ministries and local governments and authorities with the aim of incorporating legislative norms into practice, and forming new policies, norms and strategies on local, regional and national level.

Connecting several different actors and stakeholders is crucial in implementation of regenerative and circular practices, but the dialogue between them is often scarce or non-existing, thus trying to bridge the gaps inflicted by non- or miscommunication especially between public and private sector, connecting them and offering innovative solutions that are institutionally, environmentally, socially and economically interesting.

Tadej has collaborated with the Slovenian Ministry for Environment and Spatial Planning in preparation of the Roadmap for Transition of the Republic of Slovenia into Circular Economy, and has co-designed the Strategy of the Municipality of Maribor for the Transition into Circular Economy. As a legal environmental expert, he is doing his PhD studies on the topic of Water Law under the mentorship of the current president of Slovenian Constitutional Court. Mainly responsible for coordination of project implementation and preparation teams, he has a vast capacity and knowledge on how to actually bring environmental ideas and ideated best practices into life.
